The GM Professional series are high performance radios created to give immediate, reliable communications for mobile teams. The six channel Motorola GM340 provides a simple interface to all the advanced features. An internal option board can be fitted providing additional functionality such as solid state voice recording and movement/tilt alarm. Motorola Partner specialists also offer specialised option boards for particular tasks, whether interfacing to legacy systems or allowing industry specific functions such as guard logging and location tracking. Lone Worker, Emergency, Selective Calling - this digital platform supports an enormous choice of analog signalling systems - whilst voice messages are digitally processed to ensure clear, crisp and strong audio quality even in noisy environments.

Emergency Call Initiates a programmable sequence of calls for help to control (or a predefined group), on the same or a separate channel, after a presettable delay (button debounce). Calls may be secret, in case of attack, and may include automatic hot microphone audio, whilst cancellation may be automatic, remote, timed or inhibited. Lone Worker Designed to allow one man operation in risky situations, the Lone Worker feature will automatically instigate an Emergency Call if the radio user is unable to respond to a locally generated prompt from the radio. signalling
